The Circle of Grieving Voice(s) is an invitation to join a collective vocal practice where grief serves as a pathway to connect with memories and unresolved stories. Through vocal exercises and body movements, artist Hoda Siahtiri accompanies the participants on a journey of finding their grieving voice.
It is as much a practice of voicing as it is an exercise in listening and tuning in to a collective hum. The Circle of Grieving Voice(s) forms a communal act of reconciliation to our emotions, a space to witness and to voice the hollows of sadness residing in every one of us. This gathering aims at practicing what ‘relationality’ can feel like by having our voice as the main medium of connection.
