Singing the Silences

Singing The Silences is a musical performance that tells the story of an encounter with loss. In this work, Hoda Siahtiri comes to voice, weaving her way back to her first home and calling forth the compass of her heart.

Together with Guillaume Soufrice, she holds space for remembrance, ancestry, transcendence, and grief. Singing alongside the Bakhtiari women who passed on the songs that came before her, she invites us to listen to silences and to their transformation.
